Just rest well knowing that I will probably never become a writer for DC because I'd just have characters discuss at length who has the best ass in the JSA and I can't handle how many teenagers on twitter would roast me alive for that but tbh I still need to use the phrase "The United Cheeks of America" at some point or another.
as an older teenager i absolutely approve your concept and i need this to happen so bad. you're already my favourite dc writer btw
#for real though#i think x-terminators pulled that sort of humour very well#without giving off “how do you do fellow kids” energy#just a panel dedicated to jubilee and tabitha making puns about dazzler’s dump truck 🍑#and it was iconic#as iconic as “the united cheeks of america” bc hot damn
I love ur tags. Anyways, I never give up an opportunity to plug my writing blog @corner-stories in case you’re interested in my less incoherent ramblings
Also, I’m actually not that familiar with X-Men and Marvel in general, so X-Terminators was my first real introduction to Dazzler outside of animation and uh… it was a lot but I liked it.

What is your url based on?
A fandom/media thing that I like
A name or nickname I go by
An inside joke
Something I like from real life (like an object or animal or something)
It's a descriptor of the kinds of things I post (like art or perhaps polls)
It's something that describes me
It's based on a phrase or quote
It's whatever first popped into my head, no real reason behind it
Other reason for it (tell me in the tags!)

When I was little I LOVED the taste of blues clues kids toothpaste. I'd just straight up eat it. My mom thought this was unhealthy and would take away the toothpaste if she caught me eating it. Or threaten to switch to grown-up mint toothpaste (not as tasty). I would crouch behind the open bathroom door slowly squeezing out blues clues kids toothpaste onto my hands and eating it as quietly as possible

Reminder that this is an experiment as per their official announcement (screenshot below).
Since this is an experiment, give your feedback to staff!
And remember to be specific on how this new navigation layout they are experimenting with is not working for you; hating it is one thing, but usability on different devices with different screen orientations, operating system, etc., would be much more impactful and meaningful.
listen I say this with patience bc some people may genuinely have not thought about this before but if you firmly say “AI art is terribly unethical and steals from artists” (which is correct) but then turn around and use voice AIs to generate songs/voice lines that sound like your favourite voice actors or singers……………………………………that is also AI art and it is also terribly unethical
if anyone noticed the tiktok text to speech voice change a couple years ago this is exactly why
Their names were Nerissa and Katherine Bowes-Lyon. They were kept in the Royal Earlswood Hospital, formerly known as "The Asylum for Idiots". Burke's Peerage listed them both as deceased in the 1940s but Nerissa died in 1996 and Katherine died in 2014.
The hospital had no record of any visit from the family during the time the sisters were there, and they never received a birthday or Christmas card. They also received no money beyond the £125 paid to the hospital per year.
Nerissa Bowes-Lyon was buried in a pauper's grave with a plastic marker and a serial number:

The family didn't even buy her a headstone until a Channel 4 documentary highlighted the sisters' story and showed the grave. None of her family had attended her funeral.
The Queen was reported to be "hugely distressed" by the airing of the documentary.
